When Do I Get Paid?

Disbursements from FastSpring to our clients are typically made on a monthly or twice-monthly basis.

You can easily identify the payment frequency for your Store in the Dashboard by clicking the Store menu and then selecting Account Summary

On the left-hand side of the Account Summary page, the Payment Frequency field indicates how often disbursements will be made for the Store.

Most FastSpring clients have a payment frequency of Two per Month, which is illustrated in the example image above.

With this setting, you are paid every two weeks, with a delay of approximately two weeks from the end of a payment period until the disbursement is issued:

Sales Transaction Dates Approximate Payment Date
1st of the month through 14th of the month 30th or 31st of the month
15th of the month through end of the month 14th or 15th of the next month

Note About New Accounts

If your FastSpring account is brand new and has the standard payment frequency of Two per Month, your very first disbursement may occur as soon as approximately two weeks from the end of the payment period in which your first live transaction occurred. However, this can vary somewhat, and in some cases it may take longer to receive your initial disbursement.

Note about weekends and holidays

When your usual payment date falls on a weekend or a U.S. holiday, the timing of the payment will be adjusted slightly.

Note about the Minimum Payment

If your payable account balance is less than the Minimum Payment amount shown on Account Summary page, no payment will be issued and your balance will carry forward to the next period.

For clients whose payment frequency is Monthly, disbursements will generally be issued on or around the 14th or 15th of each month for sales from the previous calendar month, subject to the exceptions noted above.
