This article explains what payment methods are available for receiving disbursements from FastSpring, and how to change your payment method.
Payment Methods Available by Location
There are currently six payment methods available by which you can collect your funds from FastSpring. Not all payment methods are available in all locations. The payment methods available to you will vary depending upon your location.

What is the Difference Between Wire Transfers and International Direct Deposits (ACH)?
International Direct Deposit (ACH) may be less expensive than a wire transfer, but it is potentially slower. It is also limited to the currency of your local direct deposit banking system. For example:
- A client in Europe can only receive payment in Euros via the SEPA system, so we cannot make an IACH deposit in Swedish Krona (SEK), for example.
- Similarly, a client in Europe can only receive payment in Euros via the SEPA system (via IACH) - not by wire transfer.
- A client in the United Kingdom can only receive payment in Pounds Sterling via the BACS system, so we cannot make an IACH deposit in US Dollars, for example.
- A client in Canada can only receive payment in Canadian Dollars via the EFT system.
U.S. Dollars cannot be received via direct deposit outside of the United States, and the systems for non-USD currencies are also exclusive to their currency's respective banking system. Direct deposits are processed overnight.
A wire transfer is almost immediately deposited into the client's account. Clients are charged $15.00 per wire transfer. Wire transfers are the only option when clients want to receive a currency that is not the local currency. For example, if a client is in the United Kingdom and would like to receive USD, the USD needs to be wired to the account in the United Kingdom. A wire is also necessary when FastSpring’s bank does not have a local presence in the client’s country. That is, in any country that is not included in the list of countries under International Direct Deposit (IACH).
Making Changes to Your Payment Method
To make changes to your payment method, click the Store menu at the top left-hand corner of the Dashboard and select Account Summary.
Then, click the Edit link below the Payment Method on the right-hand side of the page.
On the Payment Methods page, click the OPTIONS command at the top right-hand corner of the page, and then select to enter the payment details for your desired payment method.
Or, if you have previously entered payment information for multiple payment methods, you can switch between them (to choose the payment method that will be used) by clicking Select next to the desired method; the currently selected method will have the word Selected instead of a link.
You can also click Delete to remove a previously-entered payment method. However, you cannot delete the currently selected payment method. Therefore, if you need to delete the current payment method, you must first enter a different payment method and select that.
Making a change to your selected payment method may take up to five business days to take effect. When you make a change, a notice to that effect will be displayed.

Direct Deposit (ACH) and International Direct Deposit (IACH)
ACH direct deposit is available for sellers with bank accounts in the United States. For sellers whose bank accounts are outside the United States, International ACH (IACH) is available in the countries shown below. If your country is not in the table below, IACH deposits are not available at this time; instead, please choose Enter Wire Transfer Instructions.
After you select Enter Direct Deposit (ACH) Information, you will be prompted to select the country in which your bank account is located, and then click CREATE.
The remainder of the fields will vary depending on the country in which your bank account is located. All fields (other than Address Line 2) are required, unless otherwise indicated.
Once you have completed all required fields, click CREATE to add the new bank information to your account. The Payment Methods page will appear again, with your new payment method available to be selected. Please note that if you had previously created a different payment method, the new method will not be selected by default.
Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard®
Payoneer offers you a different way to get paid. It is fast and secure, and it offers you the most flexibility with your money. By receiving your payments via the Prepaid MasterCard®, there is no need to wait for checks to arrive in the mail, or to wait for funds to clear.
- Use your card anywhere Debit MasterCard® is accepted worldwide or online.
- Get cash at ATMs worldwide.
- Online access to your card account allows you to easily check your balance and transaction history.
Note: There are certain fees associated with the Prepaid debit card.
The first time you select Enter Payoneer Payment Information, you are taken to a page with two sections. Click the SIGN UP command (or the Sign up link) in the top section of the page to be redirected to Payoneer's web site, where you can create a Payoneer account.
In the Payoneer ID field, enter your Payoneer Payee ID.
To find your Payoneer Payee ID:
- Log on to your newly created Payoneer account.
From the Activity menu, select Funding Sources.
- Click the > to the right of your FastSpring funding source.
Your Payoneer Payee ID will be displayed in the details of the funding source. In the animated illustration below, the Payee ID is showwalkme4.
Back on the Enter Payoneer Payment Information page in Dashboard, click SAVE.
When you select Enter PayPal Payment Information, you will be prompted to enter the email address of your PayPal account and then click CREATE. That is all you have to do, but please note that if you had previously created a different payment method, the new method will not be selected by default.
Physical Check / Other
If you need to be paid via a physical check sent via postal mail, you can select Enter Other Payment Instructions. In the Instructions text area that appears, please provide the following information:
- Payee name to be written on your check
- Address where the check is to be mailed
Click CREATE when you are finished entering the payment information. Please note that if you had previously created a different payment method, the new method will not be selected by default.
After selecting Enter Wire Transfer Instructions, you will be prompted to supply information about your bank account, your address (as associated with the bank account), the bank itself, and optionally the intermediary bank (sometimes called the correspondent bank) used by your bank when processing wire transfers that originate in the United States. Click CREATE after entering the required information. Please note that if you had previously created a different payment method, the new method will not be selected by default.
